Doe Wah Jacks Canoe Rental Doe U Really wanna go on this hell hole trip? “My girlfriends and I annually go canoeing and camping once a year. First time trying out Doe Wah and we were very disappointed. We waited almost an hour to get on the water, it wasn't very busy. Strange set up with leaving a car at the end location- took a long time. The river was low,but we encountered a bunch of trees down, which we had to cross over with our canoes. We assisted a family with two young kids throughout the trip. At the end there wasn't anyone from Dow Wah to assist us with our canoes- you were on your own. Too expensive, for such an obstacle of a trip. We are definitely not going back and we are going to search out a different canoe rental location next time we visit Michigan.”
